Vitori returns in must-win game for hosts
Pakistan have stuck with their winning XI from the first ODI, as they target a series victory against Zimbabwe in Harare. The hosts opted to bat, so Aizaz Cheema, Sohail Tanvir and Junaid Khan, who was expensive in Bulawayo, will have first use of the pitch that will get better for batting as the day goes on.
Despite failing to impress in their comeback matches, both Imran Farhat and Shoaib Malik have kept their places. Rameez Raja and Yasir Shah are still waiting to make their debut.
Zimbabwe have brought back left-arm seamer Brian Vitori, who holds the record of being the first bowler to take five-fors in his first two ODIs, which he recently achieved against Bangladesh. He will form a two-pronged pace attack with Mpofu, while Kyle Jarvis is still being rested. Zimbabwe have also decided to use two spinners, the more attacking Prosper Utseya, and Ray Price, in a containing role.
Malcolm Waller holds on to his spot and has some work to do in the No. 6 position, which is still an unsettled spot in the Zimbabwe line-up. The game is a must-win for the hosts if they are to stay alive in the three-match series.
Zimbabwe: Vusi Sibanda, Chamu Chibhabha, Hamilton Masakadza, Brendan Taylor, Tatenda Taibu, Malcolm Waller, Elton Chigumbura, Prosper Utseya, Ray Price, Brian Vitori, Chris Mpofu.
Pakistan: Mohammad Hafeez, Imran Farhat, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Adnan Akmal, Sohail Tanvir, Saeed Ajmal, Junaid Khan, Aizaz Cheema.
